Freeport is established in 1996 by journalist Karsten Kjaer, who has produced more than 600 programmes for Danish and International television as well as numerous specials on world affairs.

Freeport donation to Soldaterlegatet
Karsten Kjær, Freeport have handed over a check of 40,000 DKr to the President of Soldaterlegatet Peter Højland.

The donation is for DVD Series Danskere i Krig - for every DVD sold 20 DKr goes to Solaterlegatet that supports military personnel or civilians who are sent on missions and suffers physical or psychological harm.

The TV-documentary "Danskere i krig" was elected as best docu-TVseries in 2009 at danish TV festival.
